CGK President Jason Dorsey Speaking Alongside a 4-Star General about Gen Z!

CGK President honored to share the stage with General Paul E. Funk II, the head of TRADOC for the US Army

CGK President Jason Dorsey recently shared the stage with General Paul E. Funk to discuss Generation Z and what leaders need to know now to unlock the potential of this exciting generation. Jason shared his experience about with the CGK team, and we’d love to share it with you:

I recently had an unforgettable leadership experience that I had to share! I was honored to share the stage—both in-person and virtually—with General Paul E. Funk II, the head of TRADOC for the US Army. TRADOC stands for training and doctrine. TRADOC recruits, trains, educates, develops, and builds the Army—establishing standards, driving improvement, and leading change to prepare the Army for success. TRADOC trains over 750,000 Soldiers and service members annually!

General Funk is a four-star general and has an incredible personal story and record of leadership and service. The best part: he let me be candid about Generation Z and what leaders need to know now to unlock the potential of this exciting generation.

The in-person presentation was especially inspiring for me because we delivered the program on-site at The Center for Generational Kinetics headquarters in Austin, Texas! That’s right. General Funk and his team—along with an amazing film crew—completely remade our office into a film studio. They removed all the furniture, flew in a great moderator, and streamed everything live to leaders around the world. The technical crew and equipment occupied three offices in our building!

The most memorable part for me was General Funk presenting my dad with a US flag that flew over the Yorktown battlefield on July 4th. My dad was speechless. It was an unforgettable day for my dad and a great day to talk about Gen Z and what leaders need to know now. I hope you enjoy the behind-the-scenes photos!!!

I also want to extend a big thank you to all of the service members of every branch and their families who help so many people around the world. We thank you for your service.
