Gen Z consumers are changing entire markets. And fast. AI is only accelerating that change, which is why our President, Jason Dorsey, was fired up to keynote Tapestry’s Future Now AI Summit in New York City and share our latest research discoveries.
The summit featured fantastic keynote speakers, innovation breakthroughs, and many new ideas from across Tapestry’s storied organization. Tapestry is the global retailer that owns premier brands such as Coach and Kate Spade.
The part Jason was most excited to share
His favorite part was presenting our latest behavioral research into how Gen Z consumers think about AI, and how they use it to inform every aspect of their shopping and information experience.
Jason is a behavioral researcher, so he cares deeply about why and how people make decisions. His specialty is generational context, which matters especially given how different generations use AI.
For example, a generation that came of age with AI tools may bring different expectations to using AI than other generations more entrenched in established information-gathering and trust-building pathways.
Jason shared how Gen Z is emerging alongside AI and what that combination means for brands, retailers, and the future of serving consumers.
Personal meets professional in Jason’s keynote presentations
Jason is known for sharing personal stories about his family as part of his acclaimed presentations. In his AI-meets-Gen Z presentations, such as for Tapestry, he shared firsthand stories about his teenage daughter and how she uses AI to inform her world, influence purchasing decisions, and even help her as a tutor!
Bringing these personal stories to life is a lived, candid reminder that this behavior is not a forecast. For the generation growing up with these tools, it is already ordinary.
Honored to be back with Tapestry
The CGK team is honored to be back presenting to the Tapestry team at another amazing event, and for the chance to experience their fantastic culture, leadership, and collaboration firsthand.
Jason learned a ton, and he loved sharing our Gen Z and AI discoveries with stakeholders and leaders across Tapestry.
