CGK President Jason Dorsey Honored to Keynote Kate Spade’s Virtual Consumer Day from Their NY HQ!

CGK President Jason Dorsey recently keynoted Kate Spade New York’s Consumer Day, joining their store leaders and consumer insights teams for a high-energy, virtual event focused on understanding today’s evolving consumer—especially Gen Z.

This marked Jason’s second time speaking for the brand, and the engagement from the team was just as strong as before. The session was delivered live from their New York City office in Hudson Yards and centered on CGK’s latest research into Gen Z behaviors, expectations, and emerging trends.

A Strong Focus on the Consumer

One of the things that stood out most was how intentional the Kate Spade team is about staying close to their customer. Their focus on serving Gen Z—and every generation—shows up clearly, both in-store and across the brand experience.

During the keynote, Jason shared new discoveries around how Gen Z’s mindset is shifting, what’s driving their purchasing decisions, and where brands have the biggest opportunity to build trust and connection right now.

Engagement That Goes Beyond the Presentation

The conversation didn’t stop with the presentation. Store leaders brought thoughtful, practical questions about what they’re seeing firsthand and how to apply these insights in real time.

That kind of engagement is always a strong signal. It shows a team that isn’t just listening—they’re actively looking for ways to adapt, improve, and better connect with their customers.

Looking Ahead

A big thank-you to the Kate Spade New York and Tapestry teams for the opportunity to partner again and for the work they’re doing to turn consumer insights into real-world impact.

Their momentum is inspiring—and it will be exciting to see how their focus on consumers continues to shape growth in the years ahead.
